Core Team News

Vox Culture has started the year with incoming changes to our Core Team with a number of additions to be seen as the year continues, and a few departures over the past month. 

We would first like to welcome Oday Naseri as Vox Culture's new Cultural Ambassador. To learn more about Oday, click here. As Cultural Ambassador, Oday will be incharge of reaching out to and meeting with different cultural groups, as we seek to build new relationships with diverse groups across Houston. Oday will help collect information on the social issues that these different groups face and help correlate it towards the issues Vox focuses on, while also learning and raising awareness of the creative talents that exist within these communities.

This month we say farewell to some of our stallwarts from the Vox Culture Core team, including: Renia Butler (Board of Advisors), Sunisha Choksi (Cultural Ambassador), Pamela Morrison (Event Specialist), and Alex Chao (Technical Specialist).

Over the past 1-3 years, Renia, Sunisha, Pamela, and Alex have all been either leaders and/or amongst the most dedicated members of the Core Team. Through their actions, passion, and tremendous work, each of these individuals have left their imprints all over Vox. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours!
