"Proclaiming Humanity" 2014 series on Domestic Violence begins

For 2014 Vox Culture shifts gears as it turns its focus from 2013's In Full Spectrum to this years feature cause, domestic violence. The theme for our domestic violence series, "Proclaiming Humanity," begins in January and will extend to November of this year. Officially partnering with The Tahirih Justice Center, Vox Culture will be specifically focusing on finding creative solutions and methods in highlighting and reinforcing the need for empowerment, and bringing to light how the issue of domestic violence affects different communities, specially amongst the immigrant population of Houston.
